TERMS OF SALE
All sales and interactions online and offline with DBHM Custodial Pty Ltd t/a EFI Hardware are subject to the terms of sale as shown below in detail. Placement of an order, payment of an invoice, or acceptance of delivery, constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Sale in full.
DELIVERY & SHIPPING
Off-the-shelf items are generally dispatched within one business day. Many of our products are custom made to order or assembled as a kit specifically for your application - in these cases we'll contact you directly with an estimated timeframe and keep you updated throughout.
Within Australia we ship via Australia Post. International orders are shipped via DHL Express or other recognised international carriers. All orders include a tracking number and require a signature on delivery.
International Orders
We ship worldwide. If you're unsure what import duties or customs charges may apply in your country, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
PRICING
All prices are listed and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders arising from errors.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept bank deposit, EFT, Paypal and Credit Card (Visa/Mastercard).
Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policies. Processing fees apply to Paypal and credit card transactions. Full details are set out in the full Terms of Sale below. EFI Hardware recommends EFT or Bank Transfer to avoid processing fees.

If you believe a product is faulty or not as described, contact us before sending anything back and we'll arrange an RMA number and guide you through the process. Full details are set out in the full Terms of Sale below.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
Change-of-mind and promotional returns are accepted at EFI Hardware's discretion. Restocking fees apply. Full details are set out in the Terms of Sale below.
OPERATING HOURS
Our business operates from 8:00AM to 5:30PM Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays. Orders may be placed online at any time.

Shown below are the Terms and Conditions governing the supply of goods and services from DBHM Custodial Pty Ltd t/a EFI Hardware. Placement of an order, payment of an invoice, or acceptance of delivery, constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Sale in full.
1. Currency & Pricing
All prices are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified. The purchaser is responsible for any currency conversion fees or bank charges applied by their financial institution. Prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by EFI Hardware. EFI Hardware reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch, including where there is an error in pricing, product description, or availability. Where an order is cancelled by EFI Hardware, any payment received will be refunded in full.
3. GST
GST is applied in accordance with A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999. Where GST applies, it is shown as a separate line item on our invoice. Goods supplied to customers outside Australia for export are treated as GST-free supplies, provided EFI Hardware receives satisfactory evidence of export. If export cannot be confirmed, GST will be charged at the applicable rate of 10%.
4. Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of EFI Hardware until payment is received in full, including all applicable shipping, handling, and other charges. EFI Hardware reserves the right to register a security interest over the goods on the Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) until full payment is received. The purchaser agrees to provide all reasonable assistance to facilitate such registration if required.
5. Risk & Transit Claims
Risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon dispatch. Any claims for goods damaged or lost in transit must be lodged with the carrier directly and notified to EFI Hardware in writing within 5 business days of the expected delivery date. Claims for incomplete or missing items must be notified to EFI Hardware within 14 days of receipt. EFI Hardware accepts no liability for delays, failed delivery attempts, or loss resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the purchaser.
6. Import Duties & Refused Deliveries
Import duties, taxes, tariffs, and customs charges are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Refusal to pay applicable import charges will result in the goods being returned to EFI Hardware. In such cases, the original outbound freight cost, return freight cost, and a 15% processing fee on the value of the goods will be deducted from any credit issued.
7. Custom & Special Orders
Custom or special-order items are manufactured to the purchaser's specifications and are non-returnable and non-refundable. Payment in advance is required for custom orders under $500. A 50% deposit is required for custom orders over $500. The purchaser is responsible for verifying all measurements and specifications prior to placing a custom order. EFI Hardware accepts no liability for custom items manufactured correctly to the purchaser's specifications.
8. Warranty, Consumer Guarantees & Faulty Goods
EFI Hardware offers the manufacturer's warranty only. As these are specialty products, installation and calibration by a qualified trade professional is strongly recommended. Warranty is voided by disassembly, attempted repair, modification, or improper installation. Warranty claims are limited to the cost of the product only; EFI Hardware accepts no liability for labour, diagnosis, or re-installation costs.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
To make a warranty or consumer guarantee claim, contact EFI Hardware to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions before returning any goods. Return freight for warranty claims is the responsibility of the purchaser. Goods returned without a valid RMA number will not be accepted. Where a claim is confirmed following inspection and assessment by the relevant manufacturer or supplier, EFI Hardware will provide repair, replacement, or refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
9. Returns & Restocking Fees
Change-of-mind returns are accepted at EFI Hardware's discretion. Change-of-mind returns require a valid Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number issued by EFI Hardware prior to returning any goods. To obtain an RMA number, contact our sales team before dispatching your return. Goods must be returned in original, unused, and resalable condition with proof of purchase, clearly marked with the issued RMA number. Custom and special-order items are not eligible for return.
Goods returned without a valid RMA number will not be accepted. EFI Hardware reserves the right to refuse delivery of any unauthorised return and to return the goods to the sender at the sender's expense. EFI Hardware accepts no liability for goods returned without prior authorisation, including any loss or damage occurring during transit.

No change-of-mind returns are accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase. Return freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are not refundable.

10. Promotional Items
Items purchased during a promotional period may only be returned for store credit and are not eligible for a cash refund. Promotional returns are accepted at EFI Hardware's discretion and are subject to the same 30-day window, RMA requirements, and conditions as Clause 9.

11. Payment Terms
Payment is due as stated on our invoice. Overdue accounts will accrue interest at the rate set under the Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983 (Vic) from time to time, calculated daily from the due date until payment is received in full, together with any reasonable debt recovery costs. For EFT or international transfers, please include the relevant invoice number as the payment reference.
12. Payment Processing Fees
The following processing fees apply based on payment method and customer location. These fees reflect EFI Hardware's cost of payment acceptance and are added to the invoice total.

Processing fees are non-refundable. EFI Hardware recommends EFT or Bank Transfer to avoid processing fees.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EFI Hardware's liability is limited to the replacement or resupply of the goods, or a refund of the purchase price, at EFI Hardware's discretion. EFI Hardware is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage, including loss arising from project outcomes, incompatible components not supplied by EFI Hardware, or improper installation of supplied goods.
14. Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled or varied once accepted by EFI Hardware without prior written consent. Cancellation fees may apply to cover costs already incurred, including deposits on custom or imported items.
15. Acceptance of Terms
Placement of an order, payment of an invoice, or acceptance of delivery, constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Sale in full.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Personal information collected in connection with orders and services is handled in accordance with EFI Hardware's Privacy Policy, available at efihardware.com/privacy_policy

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our services.
