DBHM Custodial Pty Ltd t/a EFI Hardware (herein referred to as "EFI Hardware", "we", "us" or "our") outlines the following Terms and Conditions governing the supply of goods and services.

 

By placing an order with EFI Hardware, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable laws.

 

Our business operates from 8:00AM to 5:30PM Monday to Friday, excluding Victorian public holidays. Orders may be placed online at any time.

 

All orders are subject to acceptance by EFI Hardware. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders prior to dispatch where permitted by law, including where there is an error in pricing, product description, or availability.

 

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders arising from obvious errors.

 

Currently we can only accept EFT and Bank Transfer. Please bare with us while we update our online merchant facilities. 

EFI Hardware does not store full credit card details. 

Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policies.

 

Off-the-shelf items are often shipped within 1 business day. As many of our items are custom made to order, or a customized kit of parts needs to be assembled to fulfill your order, in these instances we will communicate with you directly and keep you informed regarding your orders specific shipping time frame.

Within Australia, we generally use Australia Post services. International orders may be shipped via DHL Express or other recognised carriers.

All orders dispatched from EFI Hardware will include a tracking number and are required to be signed for upon delivery.

Risk in the goods passes to the purchaser upon dispatch. Title in the goods remains with EFI Hardware until payment in full (including shipping charges) has been received.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We are not liable for delays, failed delivery attempts, or loss resulting from incorrect information supplied.

 

For items sold outside Australia, import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs processing fees and other charges may apply. These are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If goods are returned due to refusal to pay such charges, return freight and a 15% processing fee may be deducted from any credit issued.

 

Custom manufactured or specially ordered goods require payment in advance (under $500) or a 50% deposit (over $500). Custom items manufactured correctly to the customer's specifications are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except where required by law.

 

Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number issued by EFI Hardware. Please contact our sales team prior to returning any goods to obtain a valid RMA number and return instructions.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted at our discretion provided the goods are unused, uninstalled, in original packaging, and in new and resalable condition. Proof of purchase must be provided.

Restocking fees apply to change-of-mind returns only and do not apply where goods are faulty, not as described, or where you are otherwise entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

 

Returns within 90 days of purchase:

- Over $100: 15% restocking fee

- $100 and under: 20% restocking fee

 

Returns between 90-180 days of purchase:

- Over $100: 20% restocking fee

- $100 and under: 30% restocking fee

 

No change-of-mind returns are accepted after 180 days from the date of purchase.

Freight and shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you believe a product is faulty or not as described, please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return instructions before sending the goods back. 

This process assists us in assessing and processing your claim efficiently.

Where a warranty or consumer guarantee claim is made, goods may need to be returned for inspection and assessment. If the claim is confirmed, we will provide repair, replacement or refund as required under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

 

We offer the manufacturer's warranty only. Installation and calibration of goods should be performed by a relevant qualified trade professional.

Nothing in this clause limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to repair, replacement or refund at our discretion.

 

To the extent permitted by law, EFI Hardware is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of supplied products, including labour costs associated with installation, diagnosis or refitting.

 

Items purchased as part of a promotion may be returned for store credit only, subject to RMA approval and restocking fees outlined above. Custom items remain non-returnable.

 

Goods remain the property of EFI Hardware until paid for in full.

 

Personal information collected in connection with orders and services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

 

All images, data, specifications and content remain the property of EFI Hardware and may not be reproduced without written permission.

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

 

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time without notice to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or our services.
